Our Philosophy is based on Being Different and we take inspiration from the late Steve Jobs of Apple and their Think Different campaign of 1997.

Yorkshire Business Growth was formed in 2006 by Senior Partner Paul Scott after a successful career with Thirdforce plc and Apple, working at Senior Management and Board level. Our mission is to help the SME community take advantage of Corporate Sales and Marketing Strategies utilised by larger businesses and international corporations and to provide the implementation and support services and resources usually only available to larger companies. Although Paul has spent the majority of his career in the Education Sector, YBG clients have come from a wide range of sectors including the public sector, hospitality, legal services, health services and software |

Paul is also on the Board of the Huddersfield Town Centre Partnership, and acts as an Enterprise Scout with Huddersfield Town Football Club developing relationships between the Football Club and local business. |

| In January 2011 Anthony Jackson joined Paul in the Business. With a history of working at Senior Management level, Consultancy & Interim Management in a wide variety of industries including Hospitality, Travel and Information Technology, combined with the additional experience of a company flotation on the London AIM Stock Market, new business start ups, Venture Capital (a la Dragons Den), and a wealth of international contacts, he has added another dimension to the YBG portfolio. |

Recently Paul and Anthony have been focussing on building the YBG team and widening the portfolio of Business Growth products and services. We are very fortunate to welcome Tracy Sheldon to the Executive team.

Tracy is currently Managing Director of Brug Consultancy, working with individuals and businesses mentoring, coaching and formulating business action plans; formerly she was Marketing Director Europe for AGI Media Europe, part of MWV (MeadWestvaco Corporation), one of the World’s leading packaging companies serving the media and entertainment, cosmetics and personal care, home and garden and the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. The company has market-leading positions in its businesses, and operates in more than 30 countries. She has managed company turnarounds, developmental change, strategic mergers and built teams in design, localisation, print, sales and marketing. She has thirty years experience in business, working in areas from brand and product innovation, marketing, mentoring and coaching through to strategic change management and always feels there is never an end to learning and developing for the future – which makes for an interesting and exciting time.
